Grief Garden
Grief Garden is a living conservation project where returning bodies to nature is a sacred, creative, and environmentally regenerative act.
This proposal establishes a vision for a green burial space offering holistic death services, arts + education programming, and reciprocal land use projects.
This project aims to increase grief and death-literacy; conserve natural ecosystems through meadow restoration; provide programs which invite creatives, young people, and the community to engage with the concepts of death and dying; and craft burial services and offerings which support interfaith and chosen family communities.
